The Thirsty Seer located on the Sages' Tier in the city of Minas Tirith within Central Gondor is the largest and most ornate Inn in all of Middle Earth. This multi-level Inn oozes opulence with its indoor fountains, ceilings painted like the night sky, numerous libraries, elaborate feasting halls, private well, and large crown shaped pool suspended from the ceiling of the main chamber. It's said that due to the delicious fare an the lovely surroundings, students and masters have frequented this Inn for many years and is a favorite among travelers. |
THE WAINRIDER'S HEADMinas Tirith - Soldiers' Tier
The Wainrider's Head is a small tavern located on the Soldiers' Tier of the city of Minas Tirith within Central Gondor. Its name is derived from the Easterling confederation of tribes known as the Wainriders who rode in great chariots or wagons and were enemies of Gondor. This open air tavern is happy to serve travelers and is dominated by a crown shaped fountain near the entrance. Unlike any other tavern in Middle Earth, the main attraction of this tavern is the bar keep. Being a former Lore Master, he enjoys levitating several inches off the ground giving him the height of a small troll. He's also known for pulling coins out of unsuspecting patron's ears or randomly setting off fireworks under tables. THE WHEEL AND CASKMinas Tirith - Workers' Tier
The Wheel and Cask is a moderate sized Inn located on the Workers' Tier in the city of Minas Tirith within Central Gondor. If good food and solitude is what you seek then The Wheel and Cask is the Inn for you. Rarely are the halls of this fine establishment crowded but that may have to do with their wine cellar. It seems this Inn is suffering from a beetle infestation and the proprietor isn't eager to talk about it. Anyone attempting to choose a special vintage from the racks are immediately attacked by dozens of little buggers. While these insects aren't a threat to well skilled warriors they can be deadly to the less well trained. So drink with caution. |
